Room for more than one generation
Shared rooms bring people together. Separate spaces let everyone keep their own rhythm.

Different rhythms, one home
A generous kitchen and dining room can be the centre of a shared home. Bedrooms work differently: privacy, easy access and distance from the busiest rooms matter as much as their size.
The rooms between rooms
Landings, covered terraces and small sitting areas give people somewhere to pause without occupying the main living room. These quieter spaces make a large house feel more personal.
A plan that can change
Think about how a study or guest room could serve a different purpose later. The most useful flexibility is usually straightforward: good daylight, sensible circulation and enough storage.
